Educating children about Traffic Safety is one of the many focuses of the Ottawa Safety Council’s S.M.A.R.T. Camp.

At our summer safety camp, the camp’s main focus on “Safety First” resonates into the fun activities with weekly themes, active games, crafts, a bike rodeo and Kiddy Cars.

The participants will learn valuable lessons on playground safety, stranger danger, fire safety, home alone preparedness and what to do if the child gets lost in the woods.

There are subsidized and non-subsidized spaces available.

S.M.A.R.T. Camp is geared to children 4-8 years of age.

*Children will be broken into two groups depending on age, age 4-6 together and age 7&8 together. These groups are flexible if a 6 year old wants to be with the older/younger group. If you do not inform the staff we will plan to place the 6 year old in the younger group.
