Salamander Theatre is offering two drama camps this year, led by two of Ottawa’s foremost theatre artists. Located at the picturesque Billings Estate Museum, both camps culminate in an outdoor evening performance for friends and family!

Shakespeare Camp – Led by Salamander’s founding Artistic Director Eleanor Crowder, campers will learn about classical text analysis and delivery, movement, stage combat and singing by bringing Shakespeare’s tempestuous comedy, ‘The Tempest’ to life.
•Fee: $780 (HST applicable for campers aged 15+)
•Dates: July 7-25; 3 weeks
•Ages: 12-18 yrs.

Performance Camp – Led by seasoned professional artists, campers will learn singing, dancing and acting skills through exploring the music, characters and story from the boisterous and witty operetta ‘Pirates of Penzance’.
•Fee: $545 (HST not applicable)
•Dates: August 18-29; 2 weeks
•Ages: 10-14 yrs.
