Kids Camps at the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region
Since 1893, the Y has offered camp and outdoor education programs.
Generations of children and youth in the Ottawa area have experienced camps with the Y. Camp Otonabee, an outdoor day camp, Y Neighborhood Day Camps and our all-girls overnight camp, Camp Davern give a breadth of options for campers and parents alike. To many of our campers, camp is a place of belonging, a place where lifelong friendships are developed, and where they can learn new skills in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
Rooted in the values of the Y, our camp programs blend fun and adventure in an environment of respect, honesty, caring and responsibility. Our camps are proud and longstanding members of the Ontario Camping Association and are committed to the best practices of YMCA camps in Ontario.
Neighborhood Day Camps
Keeping kids of all ages active and engaged in gymnasiums, swimming pools and activity rooms at local YMCA-YWCA facilities or schools, Y Neighborhood Day Camps are a great way to spend the days of summer full of play, fun and friendships. Campers can enjoy a range of traditional day camp activities, themes and out trips. Neighborhood Day Camps are available at the following locations: Carlingwood Y, Clarence-Rockland Y, Kanata Y, Ruddy Family Y, and the Taggart Family Y.
